LangShop provides 241 languages and dialects. All of them have titles in English. Therefore, the app gives an opportunity to change the title and language icon.
Steps:
- From your LangShop admin, go to Settings > Languages. You can edit both original and translated languages.
- Open the original language. You can edit the title field. For example, you can type country name instead of language.
- If you would like to change the language icon, hover on the language icon, there pops up a notification with recommended image size. Try uploading new icons with the dimensions 28 pixels width by 21 pixels height.

In the dialog box, you will get the 2 step instruction how to upload a new icon. Now all images including language icon you have to upload through Shopify Settings > Files section. Click on the link which brings you to Shopify Files section.

Paste the copied URL from the Files page and paste it to the field which appears in the dialog window in LangShop after the step number two > Select > Save.
The same actions you can do with additional languages. Choose the language from the list of translated languages > under the language title you can launch auto-translation for all categories in your store or edit texts manually.
If the language is published, you can view translations at your storefront and the url path which Shopify automatically creates for the new language you add to store.
Steps to publish the language:
1. From your LangShop admin, go to Settings > Languages.
2. Choose the language you want to publish.
3. Click Publish.
If you decide to unpublish the language, you can’t preview it and there is no view button available for unpublished languages.

1. From your LangShop admin, go to Settings > Languages.
2. Choose the language you want to unpublish.
3. Click Unpublish.
