You can get unique links for your translated pages. For example, you have a store with the URL: https://langshop.myshopify.com. When you translate it into Italian by using LangShop, the translated version of the store will be https://langshop.myshopify.com/it. This feature allows foreign search engines indexing your website in the translated language.
Here is another example with the URL path: https://langshop.myshopify.com/collections/knitwear/products/ribbed-knit-sweater
Italian version will have the following URL: https://langshop.myshopify.com/it/collections/knitwear/products/ribbed-knit-sweater
Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to translate full URL address to get the output: https://langshop.myshopify.com/it/collezioni/maglieria/prodotti/maglione-a-coste
LangShop is constantly monitoring Shopify news and updates to implement new features inside the app.
Title and meta description of the store are displayed in search results. They are like an advertisement for your website that briefly describes the site and call customers to open it. If you want to make your store multilingual, you should translate them too.
- From your LangShop admin, go to Online Store > Preferences.
- Click Auto Translate.
- Choose fields that you need to translate.
- Click Translate.
